  • How do I apply for a scholarship?

    Children First Florida is a separate entity that accepts, processes, and awards scholarships based upon its guidelines. You would apply directly with them at www.scholarshipfunding.org
  • Which, if any scholarships do you accept?

    We accept the Children First Florida Scholarship.
  • What are your fees?

    The registration fee is $150 per child. Elementary book fee for grades K4 and K5 is $100 and $220 for grades 1 thru 6. Upper school book fee for grades 7 thru 12 – $275. Our tuition rate for the 2008 – 2009 school year is $3200 annually for K4, $3900 for grades K5 – 6, and $4000 for grades 7 – 12. Please contact the perspective school for additional information.
  • Where are you located?

    We are located on the Westside of Jacksonville with two campuses less than one mile apart. The elementary campus houses grades K4 – 6 is located at 5732 Normandy Boulevard. The upper school campus houses grades 7 – 12, is located at 1150 South Lane Avenue.
  • What do I need to do to enroll my child?

    • Along with your pre-registration and registration packets, you will need an up-to-date Florida Immunization Certificate (Form 680), a recent Student Health Examination Form (Form DH 3040), dated within the current school year, a copy of his/her birth certificate, and a copy of the child’s social security card. Students enrolling in grades 1 – 6 will also need a copy of the last report card, a copy of the last standardized testing (CTBS, SAT, FCAT, etc.). Additionally, students enrolling in grades 7 – 12 will need character references and a copy of the transcript with any high school credits.
    • At the elementary level, once the information requested above is reviewed, it is used to determine if a student requires pre-testing prior to admission. The exam consists of both academic assessment and scholastic ability. At the time of testing a $30 testing fee made payable to PHCA is required.
    • At the upper school lever, once the information requested above is reviewed, you will be contacted to set up an appointment for an interview and testing if deemed necessary. The exam consists of both academic assessment and scholastic ability. At the time of testing a $30 testing fee made payable to PHCA is required.
  • What are the school hours?

    • K4 and K5 8:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
    • 1st – 6th 8:15 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
    • 7th – 12th 8:00 a.m. – 3:05 p.m.
  • Is the school calendar the same as public school?

    Our school calendar is similar to the public school calendars in regards to major breaks such as Christmas and Spring Break. However, planning days and in-service days are scheduled according to the needs of our school.
  • Do you offer a multi-family discount?

    Because our tuition is among the lowest in the city, a multi-family discount is not available at this time.
