Chemistry, Physics and the Sciences

E-mail Print PDF

  Mr. Neal Richardson Instructor

Chemistry: The premise of chemistry is found in Genesis 1:28 where God created all matter and said to man: “Be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion...” This course examines this premise: the composition, structure, and properties of matter and the changes that matter undergoes. Students will study the fundamentals of chemistry in order to appreciate God’s unique design as well as the field’s broad subjects, extensive applications, and complex problems.

Physics: "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." (Hebrews 11:3) Everything with physical existence was made by God and can be classified as matter or energy. In this course we will examine the interaction between matter and energy in our physical world and discover through mathematical application the order that God has established in it.

Physical Science: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.” The creation of the earth and all that has been created form it are a reflection of the foreknowledge and divine provision of the Lord. This course is designed to show God’s hand in every aspect of the physical nature of the world that God has given us. To show his hand from the laws of nature that govern us to the very foundational properties that make up all that exists.  It will also reveal all that God has given us to disprove the scientific worlds attack on creation itself.
